N/B : We have noticed that a large number of applicants have network issues when submitting their forms because of the large file sizes of their scanned documents.

All duely qualified Applicants seeking employment into the State Secondary Education Board, should complete the online form.

However, Applicants who are employed in the Federal Civil Service, Statutory Corporations, Local Government Councils or other Organizations which are “scheduled” under the Pension Acts need not apply.

N/B:1.
Applicants must possess the following qualifications;

Higher National Diploma(HND), Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Master in Education (M. Ed), Master in Science (M.Sc).

A minimum pass grade of Second Class Lower Division (2/2) is required. However, a Second Class Upper Division (2/1) and a First Class Pass will be an additional advantage.

N/B: 2.
Failure to complete this form fully and accurately may lead to disqualification.

N/B: 3.
(a.) It is an offence under the Criminal Code Acts for any person to give information which he/she knows or believes to be false. Anyone who does so is liable to imprisonment on conviction for one year.

(b.) Any applicant who does any act for the purpose of influencing the Board, whether directly or through any agent, will be disqualified for consideration for any post in the State Secondary Education Board.

N/B: 4.
(a.) Applicants who have already purposed in their mind to teach in schools in the State capital or in a particular school in a particular Local Government Area need not apply. This is because teachers to be recruited will only be posted to areas of need.
(b.) Applicants who have successfully filled the online application form, uploaded their certificates cum necessary documents and shortlisted, would be required to take and pass a written examination.
(c.) Successful applicants in the examination shall be invited for an oral interview.

The recruitment exercise of Akwa Ibom State teachers begin on 18th of January, 2021,and to end on 29th January, 2021. by 12 :00am midnight. and that candidates who applied should have access to their mail or phone number use during registration which the verification message will be send through those two channels for qualify candidates who would write the final exam.
