The nature of WAEC GCE Registration Form requires candidates biometric for validation at the examination centres.

WAEC GCE Registration Period.

(i) First Series is always between (January/February) every year

(ii) Second Series took place between (August/September) every year

How to Apply for the 2023 WAEC GCE.

Candidates arc expected to pay a registration fee of Eighteen Thousand Naira (N18,000) only, at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent and obtain the Registration PIN and Information VCD:

  • Access Bank Plc;
  • First Bank of Nig. Ltd;
  • Sterling Bank Plc
  • Zenith Bank Plc;
  • Diamond Bank Plc;
  • First City Monument Bank Plc;
  • Skye Bank Plc;
  • Union Bank of Nigeria Plc;
  • Ecobank Ltd;
  • Guaranty Trust Bank Plc;
  • Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc;
  • United Bank for Africa Plc;
  • Fidelity Bank Plc;
  • Heritage Bank Plc;
  • Standard Chartered Bank Plc;
  • Unity Bank Plc;
  • WEMA Bank Plc.

In addition, candidates will be required to pay Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) commission to the banks/accredited agents.

CANDIDATES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Candidates with special needs will also register online like other candidates but they must dearly state their disabilities e.g blind, low vision, spastic, speech, etc.

West African Examination Council (WAEC) always result in their result nationwide between two/three weeks after the general examination especially GCE Exam.

Instruction on Registration

The General Certificate Examination (GCE) registration for Second Series for external candidates is ongoing.

  • WAEC GCE registration period begins on 26th July 2021 and ends on 30th September 2021 at 12.00 midnight.
  • Walk-in registration is Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N30,500.00) only per candidate. Registration must be done not less than twenty-four hours to the scheduled time of the paper(s) intended to sit for.

They will be no entertainment any request for amendment of date of birth after the result had been released. Do your amendment during registration or before the release the final result.
