NIS shortlisted candidates 2023 | The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recently released the list of successful candidates who have been shortlisted for the ongoing recruitment exercise. This comes as a welcome development for thousands of Nigerians who applied for the job, as it marks a milestone in the recruitment process. Who is on the list?

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has recently released a list of shortlisted candidates for the 2023 recruitment exercise. The list contains the names of successful applicants who have been selected to join the NIS, based on their educational qualifications and other criteria.

The list also includes the respective states from which each candidate hails from.
The list of selected candidates contains all those who applied for various positions including;

  •  Superintendent Cadre
  • Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI-2) General Duty
  • Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) Professional, (Pharmacist)
  • Superintendent of Immigration (SI) – CONPASS 11 Professional (Doctors)
  •  Inspectorate Cadre – Assistant Inspectors
  • Assistant Inspector of Immigration (All)
  • Inspector of Immigration (II), CONPASS 07
  • Senior Inspector of Immigration (SII), CONPASS 08
  • Senior Inspector of Immigration (SII), General Duty:
  • Assistant Cadre – The Assistant Cadre
  • Immigration Assistant III (1A-3) – CONPASS 03 General Duty
  • Immigration Assistant III (IA-3) – Artisans and Driver / Mechanic:

Candidates are to come to screening with the following items:

  1. Passport size photograph
  2. First School Leaving Certificate.
  3. WAEC/Nabteb/NECO/GCE Results
  4. NCE/ND/Trade Test/ RN
  5. Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.
  6. Writing materials.
  7. Face Mask and Hand Sanitizer
  8. Two pairs of white shorts and 2 white (unmarked) T Shirts.
  9. A pair of canvas/trainer and stockings.

All selected candidates will have to pass through further selection stages in order to qualify for the job. This includes an oral interview, physical and medical tests, as well as an assessment test to determine the aptitude of each candidate. Those who are successful in this stage will then be issued with an offer letter and eventually employed by the NIS.

The next step for the Nigeria Immigration Service shortlisted candidates is to take the final selection test.
