The management of the Kaduna State University (KASU) due to COVID-19 outbreak has been drawn to the notification of rescheduling of activities. the fresh and returning students are hereby advice to follow the new student’s academic calendar 2020 session. read through. Programme

KASU Resumption Date

During the COVID-19 crisis, Kaduna State University has had to redefine their academic strategies to meet the needs of their students. The Authority of the Kaduna State University has issued Academic Calendar on the future of Kaduna State University Students.

Please note the following updates:

  • 1st June – 24th July, 2020 (8 Weeks) › Lectures for all Students
  • 1st June -18th Dec. 2020 (6 Months) › SIWES
  • 27th – 31st July, 2020 (1 Week) › Mid-Semester Break
  • 3rd Aug 4th Sept, 2020 (5 Weeks) › Lectures for all Students
  • 20th -24th July, 2020 (1 week) › Second Semester ADD/DROP Registration
  • 24th-28th Aug, 2020 (1 Week) › Release of Continuous Assessment Results
  • 7th-25th Sept, 2020 (3 Weeks) › Second Semester Examination
  • 28th Sept – 9th Oct 2020 (2 weeks) › Marking, Processing & Consideration of Second Semester  Results by Departments
  • 28th Sept- 2nd Oct, 2020 (1 Week) › Faculty Examination Ethics Committee Meeting, 2nd Semester (1st, 2nd & 3rd Sittings)
  • 5th – 9th Oct, 2020 (1 Week) › Central Examination Ethics Committee Meeting, 2nd Semester (1st, 2nd & 3rd Sittings)
  • 12th & 13th October › Consideration of Second Semester Results by Faculties
  • 14th October, 2020 ›  Release of Second Semester Results
  • 15th October, 2020 › Consideration of Second Semester Results by Senate
  • 28th Sept – 9th Oct, 2020 (2 Weeks) › Revision for First Semester Examination
  • 12th – 30th Oct, 2020 (3 Weeks) › First Semester Examination
  • 2nd – 20th November, 2020 (3 Weeks) › Marking, Processing & Consideration of First Semester Results by Departments and Faculties
  • 2nd – 6th November, 2020 › Faculty Examination Ethics Committee Meeting, First Semester.
  • 9th – 13th November, 2020 › Central Examination Ethics Committee Meeting, First Semester.
  •  23rd November, 2020 › Release of First Semester Results
  • 23rd November, 2020 › Application for Change of Course
  • 26th November, 2020 › Consideration of First Semester Results by Senate
  • 2nd – 27th November, 2020 (4 Weeks) › End of Session Break
  • 30th November, 2020 2020/2021 › Academic Session Begins

NOTE — The above calendar of activities run concurrently in all the campuses (Kafachan and Kaduna Campus)
