The establishment of a National Environmental Research and Training Institute is essential to address pressing environmental issues and promote sustainable practices. By fostering research, knowledge dissemination, and training, we can work towards a more sustainable and resilient future for our planet.
Earth Environment And Climate Care Ambassadors (EECCA) is a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) that works to promote climate justice and planet safety.
Because of the negative effects of climate change on human race and the ecosystem. This affects regions and countries of the world. Therefore, the UN and int’l community are calling on nations, governments, agencies, NGOs, institutions, groups, families and individual to take urgent action to tackle this global plague, so as to make the planet more habitable for the next generations.
Aims:
- To work with United Nations, World Health Organization, Government, Agencies NGOs, Corporate bodies, etc cut greenhouse gas emissions to 1.5 degree Centigrades in the nearest future;
- To Heighten climate justice awareness campaigns in Church, Mosque, Institutions, Community and other public places
- To actively discourage illegal mining activity, deforestation, bush burning, amongst other environmental neglect, abuse and degradation
- To Plant trees and created forests
- To establish renewable energy training centres and waste management and recycling plants etc
In response to the growing need for comprehensive environmental research and training, it is imperative to establish a National Environmental Research and Training Institute. This institute will serve as a vital hub for conducting cutting-edge research, providing specialized training, and promoting the sustainable management of our natural resources.
To support the establishment of this institute, collaboration with universities, research institutions, and international partners will be crucial. By forging partnerships, we can leverage expertise, resources, and funding to enhance the institute’s capabilities and expand its research endeavors on a national and international scale.
Eligibility:
- Must have completed NYSC for graduate position( Senior Cadet)
- Applicant must have SSCE or NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit including Mathematics and English language
