CDCFIB Final Timetable for Civil Defence and Immigration Recruitment 2023

The Civil Defence, Correctional,Fire and Imigration Service Board (CDCFIB) has release the final Timeline for 2023 recruitment of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) for shortlisted candidate. About Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

The NSCDC is a paramilitary security agency under the Nigerian Ministry of Internal Affairs that is tasked with protecting infrastructure and individuals from civil unrest, natural disasters, and other threats. The agency is headed by the Commandant General and consists of over 100,000 personnel across the nation. The NSCDC has grown in prominence in recent years as the Nigerian government has sought to bolster its security forces in response to increased terrorist activity in the region.

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has recently released a list of shortlisted candidates for the 2023 recruitment exercise. The list contains the names of successful applicants who have been selected to join the NIS, based on their educational qualifications and other criteria.

According to the latest news, on June 14, 2023, CDCFIB will begin physically screening applicants for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment for 2023.

The screening/document verification/psychometric test for candidates for the NSCDC Recruitment 2023 and NIS Recruitment 2023 across Zonal Commands will begin on June 14 and run through June 28 of that year, according to the CDCFIB.

CDCFIB Final Timeline for Civil Defence and Immigration Recruitment 2023:

  •  7th to 13th June 2023 – Sending of notifications Via SMS and email to successful candidates
  •  14th to 28th June 2023 – Physical Screening/ Document Verification’ Psychometric test across Zonal Commands for NSCDC and NIS
  •  6th June to 30th July 2023 – Submission of Report of Physical Screening/Document Verification Exercise
  • 10th July 2023 – Presentation of Successful Applicants to the Board for Approval
  • Tuesday 15th August, 2023 to Monday 4th September, 2023 – Invitation of successful applicants by the Board for, Documentation/Issuance of, Appointment Letters to Officers by the Board and to the Junior Officers by the Services.

Candidates are to come to screening with the following items:

  1. Passport size photograph
  2. First School Leaving Certificate.
  3. WAEC/Nabteb/NECO/GCE Results
  4. NCE/ND/Trade Test/ RN
  5. Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.
  6. National Identity Number NIN
  7. Two pairs of white shorts and 2 white (unmarked) T Shirts.
  8. A pair of canvas/trainer and stockings.
