The University of Port Harcourt (Nigeria), and the IFP School (France) have associated their experiences in Research and Teaching in the field of petroleum engineering (reservoir characterisation and reservoir engineering, drilling, oil and gas production, and field management) to jointly award a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering and Project Development. Institute of Petroleum Studies (IPS) is an international post-graduate institution established between UNIPORT and IFP School. Eligibility

  • Candidates must be a students from Nigeria and the Sub-Saharan region of Africa.
  • Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in any branch of Engineering.
  • IPS Postgraduate Diploma graduates who meet the admission and screening requirements are also eligible to apply.
  • Company-sponsored personnel with a minimum of 5 years of relevant upstream petroleum experience may also be considered.

Duration and Award
