Application for admission into the School of Basic General Nursing / Post Basic General Nursing Programme of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Programme Duration:
- Basic General Nursing – A three-year programme, resuming on October, 2020
- Post Basic General Nursing – Eighteen-month programme resuming on March, 2021
OAUTHC School of Nursing Admission Requirements.
Basic General Nursing:
- Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.
Post Basic General Nursing:
- Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Have at least one year post registration working experience.

Application forms are obtainable online from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife website www.oauthc.com at Eight Thousand Naira (N8000.00) only through remita platform via OAUTHC Website.

Passport Photograph: Two recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.
Mode of Examination: The examination will be a Computer Based Test.

Date of Entrance Examination: Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee on the date yet to be fixed.
