JAMB Cut-off Marks Policy 2022 for Universities & Polytechnics has been release.
JAMB general cut-off marks as follow:
- Universities -120
- Polytechnics – 100

The decision of jamb cut-off mark 2022, allows institutions to set their minimum cut-off marks.
Institutions are now allowed to set their individual minimum acceptable mark for admission. This was part of the decision taken at the 2022 policy meeting which was held virtually and chaired by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu.
As per JAMB Registrar Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, some universities such as the University of Maiduguri proposed 150, Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto proposed 140, Pan Atlantic University proposed 210, University of Lagos 200, Lagos State University190, Covenant University190, Bayero University Kano, 180.
The JAMB authority approved that for Direct Entry, DE, the maximum score a candidate can present is 6 and the minimum is 2 or E, as required by law.
Candidate are advice to prepare themselves early for the announcement to commence the sales of Post-UTME form soon.
