This year 2023 global competition is going to be more exciting than ever before — with an amazing opportunity for selected finalists to get in front of Visa’s executives, potential clients, and investors.

  • One winner per region will be selected to compete in the global finals at the TechCrunch Disrupt event

Eligibility:

  • Apply now if you’re a startup with great products already in market and gaining traction — and are looking for an extra push from a global, trusted brand like Visa to gain scale.
  • Enablers of digital services and digital issuers (Blockchain and cryptocurrency, Crowdfunding, Banking as a service, BIN sponsors, Issuer/ Processors, Program managers.
  • Digital issuance : (Blockchain and cryptocurrency, Alternative lending, Personal financial management, Money transfer and remittance, Digital banking (aka neobanks), Digital wallets, P2P, and transfers, Employee benefits
    Payables, Corporate cards (aka expense management)
  • Value-add for merchants and/or consumers in regard to finance: Data and analyticsID, authentication, and security

Three monetary prizes will be awarded during the global finals event celebrated on September 19th at the TechCrunch Disrupt event in San Francisco.

  1. Overall Winner: $50,000 USD
  2. Audience Favorite: $10,000 USD (The overall winner and the Visa Direct winner are also eligible to win the Audience Favorite prize)
  3. Visa Direct: $10,000 USD

Global finalists will also  be hosted by Visa at the TechCrunch Disrupt Pavilion to exhibit together their companies in the Expo Hall with the following benefits:
