Resumption Date for Oregon Institute of technology

The updated students’ academic calendar of Oregon Institute of technology is yet to be released. meanwhile, the admission is ongoing, the requirement and guideline on how to apply are in details below.

First-Year students

You are considered a first-year student if you will graduate high school within one year, have earned fewer than 12 college credits since graduating from high school, or are dual-enrolled but have not yet graduated from high school. GED and homeschool students who have not completed 12 or more college credits submit the first-year application

You may only submit one type of application within an application period.  Multiple submissions of the same type of application within an application period are restricted.

Application periods begin with the summer term and end with the spring term of an academic year, e.g. summer 2020 – spring 2021.

Transfer student

You will apply as a transfer student if you’ve graduated from high school and have earned 12 or more transferable credits from another college or university. You will apply as a transfer if you are a post-baccalaureate student that has already completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to earn a second bachelor’s degree.

Online First-Year  student

You will apply as an online first-year student if you wish to earn your credential or degree online, if you will graduate high school within one year, have earned fewer than 12 college credits since graduating from high school, or are dual-enrolled but have not yet graduated from high school.

Some programs require additional eligibility requirements.

Online Transfer

You will apply as an online transfer student if you wish to earn your credential or degree online if you’ve graduated from high school and have earned 12 or more transferable credits from another college or university. You will apply as a transfer if you are a post-baccalaureate student that has already completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to earn a second bachelor’s degree.

Non-Degree Seeking

You’ll apply as a non-degree-seeking student if you want to take eight or fewer credits or want to take classes for personal enrichment without earning a degree

  • Financial aid is not available to part-time, non-degree seeking students.
  • Course selection may be limited based on prerequisite requirements.

Re-Admit

If you have enrolled at Oregon Tech but have not taken classes for more than four terms, you must submit the application for Returning Students. No application fee required.

Master’s

You wish to complete a master’s degree with Oregon Tech and have earned, or will soon earn, a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an appropriate regional accrediting association. Graduate Programs
