Resumption Date for Drew University

The University is operating in Drew Virtual Time for both learning and business and will not resume regular business operations at least through the first part of June

Drew Virtual Time Extended

Drew Virtual Time, with its associated virtual learning environment, will continue at least through the first part of June (instead of April 3 as we had previously anticipated), and we are moving into a different phase with residential life. Students will now be required to seek an exemption to remain on campus. Safety and social distance are our primary goals, as well as ensuring that our students can complete the semester through virtual instruction.

Transfer Student

Drew takes a holistic approach to reviewing your application for admission. Admission decisions are based on the strength of your academic record as well as extra-curricular involvement. We will consider your college grade-point average, essay and recommendations. If you have earned fewer than 24 college credits, we may also consider your high school grades and course of study. Transfer students are not required to submit the results from standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT, but may choose to do so.

  • Letter of Recommendation* from a college-level professor or administrator
  • Official College Transcripts**
  • Official High School Transcript (If you have earned fewer than 24 college credits)
  • SAT/ACT Scores (optional)

*Items are part of the Common Application.

**All foreign college/university transcripts must be submitted to an outside agency such as the World Education Services (WES) for evaluation. Once the transcript has been evaluated the agency will forward the record to Drew along with the original transcript.
