To explain this in details – UTME is for the fresh students who just graduated from Senior secondary School and obtain ( GCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB etc) and for the purpose of processing for admission into Polytechnic, College of Education and University of their choice, they must write and score the approved cut off mark in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by Jamb Nationwide.

Direct Entry Jamb Admission:
This is mainly for those candidates who already obtain ND, NCE, Advance Nabteb and may likely want to further study to obtain B.Sc, PGD, Master Etc in any University of their choice.
To convert UTME To Direct Entry
Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(Jamb) announced to the general public and the candidates concerned about the easy way to convert already registered jamb UTME to Direct entry.
For the purpose of clarity a lot of students who obtained ND, NCE, Etc make this mistake instead of registering for jamb direct Entry they would register for Jamb UTME. Now it is advisable to convert without any extra charge. anybody who have access to the internet can do it at his/her own comfort.
Step To Convert
(i) Put the email used during registration and password in the box provided to login
(ii) At the top left-hand side click convert UTME to DE
(iii) The mobile phone number used during registration will be required, put it.
(iv) Properly put the details of the qualification (month and Year) been ND, NCE Etc
(v) Scanned documents of the qualification will be required. cross-check before final submission.
