How to Apply Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2023 | This is to inform all citizen in Nigeria who wants to apply for Nigerian Navy both Trade and non-trade Men and Women and also those interested to apply Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) and Short Service Combatant (SSC). that the portal is open for Basic Training School Batch 35 Recruitment 2023.

Long awaiting Nigerian Navy Recruitment exercise batch 35 is out.

Nigerian Navy conduct two (2) sets of recruitment exercise every year, (i) Basic Training School Recruitment (ii) Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) and Short Service Combatant (SSC).

1)  Basic Training School Recruitment which include Trades/non-tradesmen and women involved candidate age between 21 and 22 for non-trade and between 24/25 for those applying for tradesmen and women. And other prerequisite requirement which include the following:

The requirement for Nontrademen/women

• Applicant must have SSCE or NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit including Mathematics and English language
• Age 21-22
• Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• National identification number (NIN)
• Certificate of Origin
• Birth Certificate

Tradesmen and Women

• Applicant must have SSCE or NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit including Mathematics and English language
• NCE or OND or Trade Test
• Age 22 – 25
• Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• National identification number (NIN)
• Certificate of Origin
• Birth Certificate

2) Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) and Short Service Combatant (SSC). This recruitment exercise is conducted between August and September every year and is only for candidate age between 28/30 both male and female.

If you’re a graduate, the direct short service course (DSSC) is more suitable for you. In this case, the major requirement to apply is that you must have completed NYSC or provide proof of exemption. The Other prerequisites that will determine your eligibility are as followed:

• Applicant must have SSCE or NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit including Mathematics and English language
• HND/B.Sc
• Age 28 – 30
• Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• National identification number (NIN)
• Certificate of Origin
• Birth Certificate
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or provide proof of exemption
• Applicant must provide two (2), referees
