How to Apply Akwa Ibom State Bursary/Grant Award 2023

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno has declared  Bursary/Grant Award 2023 for students in Akwa Ibom State. Participation is strictly by registration. follow registration guideline below

He explained that his administration has taken steps to reduce the cost of governance by cutting on excesses and ploughed back the proceeds into the society to address the enormous intervention needs it is facing.

Noted that Primary and Secondary school students will get free exercise books, Students of the state origin in tertiary institutions are to be paid a N10,000 bursary, civil servants will receive N10,000 non-taxable allowances for three months while operators of informal sectors like transporters and traders will operate ticket-free on all Fridays within the next three months.

The Federal House Member through the Education Committee invites application from suitably qualified undergraduate students for the 2023/2024 academic session Bursary Award.

Eligibility

• The bursary is open to students from the three L.G.A’s that makes-up Ikot Ekpene Federal constituency, namely: Ikot Ekpene, Essien Udim, and Obot Akara LGA’s.
• Applicants must be registered undergraduate students of any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

• Certificate of Origin
• Admission letter
• A recent passport photograph
• Current school fee receipt
• Student identity card Deadline for submission of applications
