The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno has declared Bursary/Grant Award 2023 for students in Akwa Ibom State. Participation is strictly by registration. follow registration guideline below
He explained that his administration has taken steps to reduce the cost of governance by cutting on excesses and ploughed back the proceeds into the society to address the enormous intervention needs it is facing.
Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has fulfilled his commitment to enhancing education by disbursing N100 million from the Education Trust fund to persons with disabilities in the state.

Additionally, bursary payments for Akwa Ibom state students in public tertiary institutions have been initiated, with a designated website.
The Commissioner for Education, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet, expressed gratitude for the governor’s investments in education and cautioned recipients to use the funds strictly for educational purposes.
Various speakers at the event commended Governor Umo Eno for his commitment to education and support for persons with disabilities.
The website, bursary akwa ibom state government offers a straightforward registration process for students, as explained by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on ICT, Dr Frank Ekpenyong.
Grant:
- Postgraduate students receive 300,000 Naira
- Undergraduate disabled students receive 250,000 Naira
Eligibility
- The bursary is open to students from the three L.G.A’s that makes-up Ikot Ekpene Federal constituency, namely: Ikot Ekpene, Essien Udim, and Obot Akara LGA’s.
- Applicants must be registered undergraduate students of any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
