The location of the Institution is at 15b, Awolowo Road, South West, Ikoyi, Lagos State Nigeria
The Training consists of four courses namely:
- Personal survival at sea techniques (STCW Code Table A-VI/1-1)
- Basic fire Prevention and fire fighting (STCW Code Table A-VI/1-2)
- Elementary first aid (STCW Code Table A-VI/1-3)
- Personal safety and social responsibility (STCW Code Table A-VI/1-4)
Candidate will received training and be competence in following area:
- Survive at sea in the event of ship abandonment.
- Minimize the risk of fire and maintain a state of readiness to respond to emergency situations involving fire
- Fight and extinguish fires.
- Take immediate action upon encountering accident or other medical emergency.
- Comply with emergency procedures.
- Take precautions to prevent pollution of the marine environment.
- Observe safe working practices.
- Contribute to effective communications on board ship.
- Contribute to effective human relationships on board ship.
- Understand and take necessary actions to control fatigue.
