The Croatian Government Scholarships 2023 portal is open, The Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes offer scholarships to Undergraduates & Graduates students from several countries, including Switzerland
The following two scholarship programs are available for Swiss applicants for the academic year 2022/2023:
- A1 One semester studies for Croatian language students (mobility: 4-5 months): Scholarships type A1 are on offer to students (BA or MA) who would like to spend one semester learning Croatian and perfecting their Croatian language skills at either the University of Zagreb (Croaticum) or at the University of Rijeka (Rijeka School of Slavic Studies).
- F Summer seminar of Croatian language and literature in August 2022 (10 days): Scholarship type F is granted for the Croatian Seminar for Foreign Slavic Studies Students organised by the Zagreb School of Slavic Studies in Dubrovnik.

Eligibility
- A1 One semester studies for Croatian language students
- Open to Croatian language students and students of Slavic Studies who are currently enrolled in BA or MA studies in their home countries.
- Students are required to have completed a minimum of 2 semesters at their home institutions.
- F Summer seminar of Croatian language and literature
- Open to Croatian language students and students of Slavic Studies who are currently (at the time of application for the scholarship) enrolled in studies.
- Students are required to have completed a minimum of 2 semesters at their home institutions.
- Eligible are also lecturers (teachers, senior assistants with a PhD degree and teaching/research assistants) who teach Croatian language and literature at foreign universities.
Application
The application procedure for Swiss applicants consists of two steps:
- Applicants must submit their application through the Agency’s online application system.
- A PDF version of the application form and all required documents must be sent by e-mail to [email protected].
